MEET THE SPEAKER:

Danny Mitchell

Danny says, “I grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney and became a Christian when I was 16. These days I’m the youth pastor at Arundel Presbyterian Church on the Gold Coast, where I work together with other Christians to help teenagers find out about Jesus. I love hanging out with my 4 awesome girls (one of them is my wife), riding my bike, and talking about baseball (to anyone who cares).”

THE TALKS:

1 Peter says a lot about identity and belonging. As people who trust in Jesus, we have been chosen to belong to him and belong in heaven. That means that this world is not our home – we won’t fit in here if we live like Jesus. But we do have a purpose in this world – our job is to live such good lives that we show the goodness of the one who saved us.
